On October 28, 2022, a ceremony remebering the 116° anniversary of the first flgiht of Santos Dumonts' 14 BIS, celebrated the Brazilian Air Force Day and the Brazilian Aviator's Day.
The event, which was held at the Inter-American Defense Board, in Washington DC, was presided by the Brazilian Ambassador to the United States, Mr Nestor Forster Júnior, and was attended by several foreign and national military and civilian representatives.
Several medals and decorations where awarded at the event, among which we highlight:

- Order of the Aeronautical Merit - Commendor grade
- Order of the Aeronautical Merit - Official grade
- Order of the Aeronautical Merit - Knight grade
- Medal of Merit Marshall Cordeiro de Farias, and
- Santos Dumont Merit Medal
